Meet Dr. Sittmann

A person’s smile is something that I have learned is influential to a person’s ability to be comfortable with themselves. A smile can affect personality, confidence, and self-esteem. I have witnessed and experienced firsthand the power that having the smile you’ve always wanted can have on an individual. To have the privilege to affect my patients in such a personal way is invaluable.

The intimate relationships that are fostered from regular patient visits makes it an even more unique and rewarding experience, as I get to follow my patients through such an exciting transition in their lives with a grand finale of having a beautiful smile that they can feel good about.

Education and Continuing Education

I completed my undergraduate studies in Biobehavioral Health with a minor in Biology at the Pennsylvania State University. I then earned my Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine. While in dental school, I was the recipient of the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry Award of Merit, and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society and Gamma Pi Delta Honor Society. Following dental school, I completed my three-year orthodontic residency at the Montefiore Medical Center, where I served as Chief Resident.

Due to the ever- changing nature of the field of orthodontics, I remain up to date in the latest advancements through continuing education courses, seminars, and study clubs to ensure my patients receive the best possible care and the utmost result.
